GLOBALISATION FACTORS AFFECTING ADULT EDUCATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of trends in the development of international integration in the andragogical field. It is proved that andragogy, as a science of adult learning, is growing in importance in the world, especially in connection with changes in the economy, technology and social conditions.


The main challenges and trends in the field of international andragogical integration are considered, and strategies and recommendations for its further development are presented. It is noted that the globalisation of adult education is defined as a process of interaction and integration of educational systems, programmes, practices and institutions of different countries and regions in order to ensure quality education for adults and at the international level.


It is found that in Western countries, adult education takes two main forms: European and American. It is proved that a special place in the implementation of the idea of lifelong learning is given to universities. It is emphasised that globalisation, rapid technological development and changes in the economic environment pose new challenges and tasks.
