The quality of professional knowledge of the future teachers of physical training in the disciplines of professional and practical training - the result of control and analytical teachers’ competence

Introduction. Training of specialists on a physical culture and sport occupies an important place in cultural and professional training of modern students.  One of basic directions of realization of educational content in their professional training must become the receipt of modern knowledge from disciplines of cycle of professional and practical training. A modern specialist must be highly skilled, competitive, to have sufficient intellectual potential.

The result of providing of the transferred requirements is the quality of professional knowledge, which comes forward not only the index of intellectual level and general culture of future specialist but also a result of control and analytical teachers’ competence of physical education. In fact in the conditions of integration of Ukraine to the European concord to the students an actual topically requirement is pulled out – freely, normatively and exemplary to use professional knowledge, the base component of which is professional terminology.

Purpose. The purpose of the article consists in finding out of intercommunication of control and analytical teachers’ competence of physical education with the quality of students’ knowledge of from the cycle of disciplines of professional and practicaltraining.

Methods. The analysis of literature sources, documentary materials, pedagogical experiment, the methods of mathematical processing of the obtained data were used.

Results. Attending the specially organized lessons twice a week, the students of the experimental groups perform test tasks in professional terminology knowledge in the discipline of the corresponding course during the II term of 2011-2012. In the control groups, the education process consisted of generally accepted education methods. Specially organized lessons and developed education computer methods of improving professional terminology knowledge in special practical disciplines, promoted its significant increase among the first-fourth year students of the experimental groups if compared with the control groups  (Р<0.01).

 Originality. The conducted control testing during the examination session as well as the comparison of the results in the control and experimental groups made it possible to conclude about its effectiveness.

Conclusion. The study reveals the best level of professional terminological competence of the students in the experimental and control groups in «Athleticism» discipline (76.86±1.88 and 69.80±1.43) (Р<0.01) and «Sport Games Theory and Methods» discipline (75.86±1.62 and 71.09±1.70, Р<0.05). The lowest scores were achieved in «Gymnastics Theory and Methods» discipline (71.24±1.56 and 65.61±1.55, Р<0.05 respectively), which can be the basis for a more thorough study of the given subjects.
